This week we have been learning about the respiratory system.
On Wednesday we used balloons and bottles to mimic the diaphragm and the lungs.
We had great fun trying to make the 'lungs' fill with air by pulling the 'diaphragm'.
When we pulled the diaphragm down the lungs expanded. As we pushed the diaphragm up the lungs contracted.
