Winter Decorations

Third class have been learning about charities which help elderly people and we wanted to do something to help.
We thought it would be nice to make some Winter decorations for the elderly people in the nursing home next to the school. It gave us a chance to practise our sewing skills too.

Stone Age Cave Art

We have been learning all about the Stone Age in third Class.
We looked at some examples of their cave art and tried to recreate them.
On winter solstice we watched a live stream from Newgrange - a burial place from the Stone Age- to see the sun light up the chamber. Unfortunately there wasn't enough sunlight coming though the clouds on Tuesday morning for the chamber to light up.
