All of the children in my Senior Infants class entered an art competition called Gifts to the Starman in December. They completed a drawing using chalk pastels on sugar paper to create beautiful colurful space-themed pictures based on the David Bowie song Straman!
I am very proud to say that not one but two of the pupils in my class were selected from thousands of entrants to be a part of the Gifts to the Starman exhibition as part of Dublin Bowie Festival. Their work will be exhibited in The Phoenix Park Visitor's Centre, and it is free for all to attend, The opening times are 9.30-5.30 9-13 January.
