Today our whole school went on strike for climate change. In the morning we made signs to hold up during our march. Our signs were to tell people about climate change. On our march we walked around the school gates three times. We chanted, "Save our Planet!" Lots of vehicles beeped their horns and lots of people waved at us to show their support! What a great day!

Today was an exciting day! The mobile library came to visit our school and 1st Class got to visit it for the first time. Everybody borrowed a book and they will get to take it home for a whole month! The library will be back again in October. What an exciting few weeks we have had so far! The children have been getting to know each other and settling in to the lovely new classroom. They have been busy making up a new class contract, designing some artwork for our walls, choosing classroom responsibilities and doing lots of new learning. We will be adding some photos later in the week :-)
