Practicing tables at home is so important. At school, we employ active learning methodologies as much as possible, and try to engage in activities that allow all of the children to be involved at the same time.
The learning of tables is a crucial Mathematical skill that we, as teachers and ANAs just cannot do for the children. While there are some fun games, songs, activities that provide us with opportunities to practice tables, the only way to ensure that a person knows their tables is to practice them consistently at home.
This is where we need parents' help. We understand that it can be easy to dismiss 'Tables' when you see it written in your child's homework journal - but these number facts are the building blocks on which all of their learning throughout the rest of their schooling will be based! It is impossible to overstate the importance of having number facts on the tip of one's tongue, or how much it hobbles a child's progress with more difficult problems, when they have to stop and count up on their fingers to solve 5x7.
Below are some websites that have fun, interactive games that will allow your child to work on their speed with their tables. We would also encourage you to practice skip counting (3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18....) every opportunity you get - when out walking, driving, preparing dinner, etc.

Choose to focus on one table at a time until your child knows them all well, then try games including more than one table at a time.
