In maths we have been learning about 2D shape in many different ways. We drew the shapes during art and created shape monster made from 2D shapes. During our maths lessons, we made the shapes on geo-boards and peg boards. In PE we made the shapes in groups. Take a look at our work!
On Friday we had our first GAA training session with our coach Peter. We practised Gaelic football and learned how to bounce the ball and how to solo. We can't wait until next Friday!
In Geography, we have been learning about people and their jobs. Each of us were given a job to learn about over the mid-term break and today we turned out classroom into a working town. Children from Laura's 1st class came to visit our town. We had great fun working together.
We had a very exciting first day back to school! Olwen Carey, who plays for the Dublin ladies football team, came to visit our school. She brought in the Brendan Martin cup which her team won in the all-Ireland football final this year. We were so excited to meet her and see the cup. Enjoy our photos and the video of us all singing Molly Malone to show that we are proud Dubliners!
