The boys and girls in 1st class have been working hard since our trip to Dublin Zoo to create a mini zoo of their own at home. The effort they put in was tremendous! Each child researched their chosen animal and recreated a zoo enclosure for this animal. We had an open day in our zoo and all the classes visited. Everyone was very excited to learn about the different animals. We are incredibly proud of the work put into this project and each child should be proud of thier achievement!
Sports Day is happening this Friday! This year, the children in each class will partcipate in team events. The teams have been split as below and it would be great if the children could wear a t-shirt or jumper of their team colour on the day.
Looking forward to seeing everyone on the day in their team colours!
Thank you :)
Both First Classes enjoyed a wonderful School Tour to Dublin Zoo this term. We saw a lot of exotic animals and had a guided tour of the African Plains! All the boys and girls in First Class really enjoyed this trip and we were very proud of how they represented our school. Here are some of our pictures.
Lots of things have been happening in 1st Class this spring! Our hedgehogs have finally woken up and we found them on the hunt for some food! We have won 'Cleanest Bathroom' twice now, with the help of Angela and Jerry, our new plants. Some fairies have made our classroom their home and they've been writing letters to us and much much more. Come and see our pictures!
